Edgar Chavez discovered his passion for painting at just 20 years old, beginning his career as an apprentice painter and dedicating himself to mastering the craft. Originally from Mexicali in Baja California, Mexico, Edgar moved to California as a child and spent more than 12 years refining his skills before joining Scenic Vans. His talent, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were immediately evident, making him a natural fit to lead Scenic's paint department.

As Paint Lead, Edgar oversees the team's workflow, prioritizes projects, and ensures every van meets Scenic's high standards for quality and durability. After taking the time to learn the products, processes, and team, he thoughtfully transformed the paint department into a more streamlined, efficient operation while continuously improving the consistency and durability of Scenic's finishes. His high standards, strong leadership, and drive for continuous improvement have made a lasting impact on both the department and the company.

Outside of work, Edgar enjoys staying active, exercising, and spending time with his children, Adilene and Aaron. A devoted family man, he takes great pride in being present for his kids and supporting Aaron, who has special needs, as he continues to grow and thrive.
