harry hamaker
Harry's path to Scenic is anything but ordinary. Before building custom campervans, he spent over a decade as a professional skateboarder, traveling the country and earning recognition for some of the sport's most technical tricks. He's best known for landing a fakey hardflip down Philadelphia's iconic Love Gap - a feat featured in Thrasher magazine in 2006 that remains a memorable part of skateboarding history.
Today, Harry channels the same focus, precision, and discipline that defined his skateboarding career into leading Scenic's fabrication department, where he oversees the production of the custom cabinetry that gives every Scenic campervan its signature look and functionality.
Whether it's a one-off custom request or a full production run, Harry is responsible for making sure every component is built accurately and meets the high standards Scenic is known for.
When he's not in the shop, Harry enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 30 years and their three children. He is also often found tackling unique woodworking projects for family and friends, always eager to take on a new challenge that requires creative problem-solving.
Around Scenic, Harry is known for his warm and easygoing personality while also holding his department to a very high standard. He takes great pride in maintaining an organized, efficient workspace, believing that exceptional craftsmanship starts with attention to detail.
