Tony Saugar

For Tony Saugar, a natural curiosity and knack for problem-solving have always drawn him toward technical, hands-on work. Long before joining Scenic, Tony was designing his own motorized scooters and bicycles, working on cars, and later refining his technical skills as an electric bike mechanic. Those experiences laid the foundation for the versatility and craftsmanship he's known for today.

At Scenic, Tony started as a van builder and quickly became a valued member of the team. His growing expertise - including a particular talent for electrical work - ultimately earned him a promotion to Director of Production, where he oversees daily production, manages build timelines, resolves day-to-day challenges, and helps ensure every campervan is completed on schedule without compromising quality. With his great sense of humor and easygoing personality, Tony plays an important role in mentoring new members of the Scenic Vanbuilder Academy, helping new builders feel at ease while developing the skills they'll use throughout their careers.

In his free time, Tony enjoys building computers and working on cars, constantly exploring new ways to enhance and customize his projects.
