Option 1: Use Your Personal Insurance if Possible
If your personal vehicle is insured with a car insurance company that is willing to cover an RV for the duration of your rental, you do not need to purchase insurance with us. We will email you an insurance binder form that you can send to your insurance agent to add our campervan to your personal policy and certify coverage for the duration of your rental. We can guide you through this process, but typically there are no costs to do this.
Option 2: Buy Insurance From Us
Alternatively, we offer insurance that will cover your RV through our booking portal. Prices vary depending on the van and level of coverage you select.

We operate like a hotel with Check in (Pick up) in the afternoon at 3:00 P.M. and Check out (Return) in the morning at 11:00 A.M. This allows us to ensure that the vans are clean and mechanically sound between rentals.
We try to be flexible with timing and if the van is ready, we will notify you the day of and you can get the van early, but we cannot guarantee that.
If you would like to pick up earlier or drop off later than the prescribed time, you can purchase early pickup or late drop off for $150. We have to charge that because we must cancel any rentals the night before or after the rental.

No special Driver License is required. Our vehicles drive like big trucks and fit into a regular parking spot.

Our luxury campervans are 200-300% more fuel efficient than traditional gas powered RV’s.

The only fee required is a $50 prep/cleaning fee and tax.
We also offer unlimited mileage, though we have mininum day rentals based on distance. Also for trips to Texas or farther we charge a Long Haul fee of $200 to cover the oil change.

We are very pet friendly! We allow dogs and cats in our campervan rentals. We charge a $100 pet cleaning fee if you want to bring your pet.
Maximum 2 Pets. If you have large pets, please inquire, not all vans are good for large pets.

We offer flexible cancellation with 100% refund up to 30 days in advance.
Between 30 and 15 days you lose the $400 holding deposit.
Within 14 days of departure, lose 50% of your reservation fee.
Within 1 Week - No Refunds
For bookings less than 30 days prior to departure we have a different cancelation policy:
48 hours after booking, free refund (unless departure is less than 7 days away, then all sales final)
30-7 days prior to departure, lose 50% of your reservation fee.
7 days prior to departure all sales final.

This was a wonderful experience! I have been contemplating renting a van to see if I would like to explore van life and this was the perfect way to start my adventure. Kevin was helpful from the very beginning, responding to my messages at 8 pm at night on the app, walking me through all the parts of the van, and answering all my questions in 100-degree weather! "Overall, we had a most amazing time in our Mammoth Van. Took a trip from the Bay Area down to Sequoia National Forest, Joshua Tree, Alabama Hills, and rounded out in Tahoe. Smooth ride, great amenities, excellent customer service, and all around positive vibes. The only constructive feedback I’d give would be to ensure that upon pick up, the van is fully topped off with water, solar, and gas and ready to ride. Can’t wait for our next trip.
